Volkl Power Bridge 6 Attiva Tennis Racquet

Volkl Power Bridge 6 Attiva Tennis Racquet Review

The Volkl Power Bridge 6 Attiva is a 2009 update to the DNX 6 Attiva and maintains the use of Volkl's DNX material in the 3 and 9 o'clock positions as well as in the cap above the grip, but with the added stability of the DNX-reinforced Power Bridge in the throat area. DNX material placed in key regions, combined with a stiffer frame construction in the shaft area produces maximum power in this "gender-focused 'tweener frame.

The Attiva concept features an optimized weight and balance, new rounder and softer grip anatomy, and a new Sensor Plus Handle System. These features are designed to benefit the serious female player, without gimmicks or non-functional technologies.

The unique characteristics of DNX: 25-times stronger than regular carbon graphite fibres. This adds superior strength to the DNX 6 Attiva and automatically enhances the power and precision of every shot.

DNX technology is a unique new material developed by Volkl in cooperation with the Fraunhofer TEG Institute in Germany, that is 25 times stronger than any other mass-produced carbon fiber. DNX is located in three strategic points in the racquet to improve playability. DNX at 3 and 9 o'clock increases torsional stability, allowing for greater control, even off-center hits. DNX is also placed in a cap above the grip to add strength and power to the frame.
